Brett has spent more than fifteen years working where disaster risk, emergency response, climate adaptation, and complicated funding systems all collide, sometimes gracefully, sometimes not. A former Peace Corps Volunteer in Mongolia, he later worked with USAID in Afghanistan, Ghana, El Salvador, and Bangladesh, helping governments and communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from crisis. Across these roles, Brett managed complex programs, reviewed hundreds of proposals, and developed deep experience across the full program cycle, from strategy development and program design to proposal review, implementation, reporting, and compliance.

Sarah brings more than fifteen years of front-line experience managing international development programs with USAID, including postings in Afghanistan, Ghana, El Salvador, and Bangladesh. As a regional Program Officer, she helped coordinate program strategy across missions while supporting the planning, justification, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting of multi-million dollar portfolios. Her work also focused on grant and contract compliance, funder relationships, and helping governments, nonprofits, and local partners deliver meaningful results without getting permanently buried in the paperwork.
